Stay tuned throughout Memorial Day, as I'm going to be highlighting all the best PC gaming deals I can find across all the major retailers. Whether that's new laptops and PCs, or gaming monitors and peripherals, I'll find them.
But probably no graphics cards. I mean, be realistic, there aren't going to be any good deals on a new pixel pusher.
Good morning! It's officially Memorial Day, and that means discounts as far as the eye can see.
I spent the last couple of days sifting through piles of discounted PC gaming hardware (well, not literally, as I was still just sitting here right at my PC. But in my mind, there was a whole lot of sifting going on.)
The good news is that there's a lot to sink your teeth into. The bad news? Your wallet might hate you for it, but it'll hate you less than if you shopped a day or two from now, so that counts as good news in my book, really.
We all deserve a treat now and then, and now's the perfect time to just go for it and give your gaming setup a refresh.

I'm going to start you off easy with a sweet discount on a gaming laptop with the RTX 4060.
It's not the latest Nvidia has to offer in terms of hardware, but it doesn't always need to be. This portable little beast will still run the latest games, and if you need more frame rates, you can always turn to those "" that many a PC gamer have been ranting about recently.

The MSI Cyborg 14-inch serves up solid refresh rates, a popular discrete GPU, and an Intel CPU. You might run low on storage here as that's only sitting at 512GB, but that's nothing one of the can't fix. You can also if that's your preferred place to shop, but it's pricier and not on discount, selling for $1,099.
Anyone who knows me knows that I'm obsessed with GPUs. If there ever comes a day when I'm not talking (or more often, complaining) about the GPU market, send out a search party. No, I'm not joking.
With out in full [[link]] swing, I imagined myself as the hero you all deserve. I thought I'd come in here and shower you with GPU deals. Then, we'd all hug and have a little cry as we realize that is still a whole year away.
The reality is quite different, as you'll find. It's dry out there, so dry that I actually just spotted an RX 580 being listed on sale, and that thing is 8 years old.
While my recommendation is generally to wait it out and focus on (which I'll also share with you throughout the day), here are a few GPUs that are actually discounted during Memorial Day sales.

Price watch:🔽 Sapphire RX 9070 | 16 GB GDDR6 | 3584 shaders | 2520 MHz boost | The RX 9070 is one of AMD's better GPUs for many years and not that much slower than the XT version. Unfortunately, it's not being sold at anything like a sensible price because stocks are extremely low—this is almost $200 over AMD's MSRP.
Nvidia's RTX 5070 was meant to sell at a $549 MSRP, which, strangely enough, makes this $629 GPU a decent deal. This one is better equipped to handle VRAM-hungry games, what with the 12 GB of video memory, and Multi Frame Gen gives it some extra oomph in the games that call for it. In our review of the , we liked the 1440p performance, but we just didn't like the price.
Here's a more budget-friendly option for all the gamers out there, and only $50 above MSRP. (I hate myself for saying that, but this is the world we live in right now.)
At launch, the was praised far and wide for its performance per dollar. We loved the 12 GB VRAM, which is more than Nvidia's recent RTX 5060 can offer. The drivers were a little iffy at launch, which is a shame, but generally, this is a GPU that punches above its weight class.

This is a mighty all-AMD gaming PC, rocking last generation's outright best gaming CPU alongside one of the best mid-range GPUs of the current crop. Not only that, but you're also getting a healthy amount of DDR5 memory, and a just-about-good-enough amount of SSD storage space.
You know how I said that the GPU market could be doing better right now? (Putting it mildly here.) Well, one of the best workarounds is buying a pre-built PC instead of building your own rig. And trust me, it takes a lot for me to say that, because I'm a PC builder through and through.
When bought on its own, the RX 9070 XT—while excellent—is wildly overpriced right now. The $600 price tag it was supposed to come with is a pipe dream. But, you could always save yourself the hassle and just get a solid PC that comes with AMD's already installed.
This PC has just about everything you could ask for (in that price range, anyway). It has the (which I also own and can attest that it's still one of the ), it has the RX 9070 XT, and it has 32 GB of RAM, so you can indulge in your gaming/Discord/Netflix/YouTube/etc. combo without running out of memory. It's a good deal, so snag it while it's still here.

Fun fact: I've spent the better part of my life playing various MMOs. That means interacting with people, which is both a blessing and a curse. Those years spent on Ventrilo, TeamSpeak, Skype, and now Discord (can you guess my age?) made me massively appreciate a .

There are still good deals to be had as long as you steer clear of graphics cards. Which, again, as much as I love them, please do steer clear (and if you're desperate, I have a few deals for you down below, so keep on scrolling).
The idea is to avoid the big-ticket components while they're super pricey and instead, give your PC a little boost through targeted upgrades. My favorite picks right now during Memorial Day sales are SSDs and RAM upgrades, so I'll give you a few options to choose from.
Do I need more RAM? No. Am I going to buy some? ...Yup.

So, we've been here for a while... Time to pull out the big guns.
At the risk of scaring you off—and I really, really don't want to scare you off—I'm going to show you a couple of options if you want a PC or a laptop with the best hardware available.
You know, like the , or maybe the if you're willing to settle.

Phew. I was worried those RTX 5090-powered PCs might have scared you off. Good thing you stayed, though, because I'm back with a much more reasonable alternative.
In my hunt for Memorial Day deals, I spotted . Much less out-of-this-world kind of specs than those RTX 5090 beasts I showed you earlier, but this is the kind of PC I'd recommend to a friend on a tighter budget. You're paying well under $1,000 and still getting your game on - that's a win in my book.
Plus, this PC gets you Intel's free spring bundle for free, meaning you'll get Civilization VII and Dying Light: The Beast when you shop. (Act fast, though, because supplies won't last forever).
I like me a good desktop PC under $1,000, and Acer is a brand that I know to be safe to recommend. This is the easiest way to get a plug-and-play kind of experience out of your gaming PC. With Windows 11 already included, all you need to do is power this one up, install some drivers, and start gaming without absolutely smashing the bank.

Although I've tested many gaming handhelds and even temporarily nicked one off a friend (it's back in safe hands now, though), I don't actually own one. I'm usually the type to just plant myself in front of the PC, and there I stay for too many hours to admit to.
That might change soon, because these Memorial Day deals are starting to get to me.

Lenovo Legion Go | Z1 Extreme | 8.8-inch screen | 16 GB RAM | 512 GB SSD | The Legion Go is one of the more polished handhelds on the market, with a sleek 8.8-inch screen and detachable controllers. That screen is a little overkill for the lil' AMD chip inside this machine, the Z1 Extreme also found in the ROG Ally, but it's great for playing indies on while relaxing. One of the controllers also becomes a mouse if you need it, which is a bit of a gimmick but works pretty well. The main downside here is the small SSD, but it's a pretty easy upgrade later on.

Whether you're on a laptop or on a desktop, chances are you might want (or need, if it's the latter) a monitor. [[link]] Good thing, too, because aside from kitchen appliances and party supplies, Memorial Day actually serves up a respectable number of monitor deals. Who would've thought?
You might be like me and need, at minimum, two monitors to survive. Or you could be just fine with a single display, which, good for you, and I'm jealous. Or perhaps a shiny, massive ultrawide is more your thing? In any case, Memorial Day deals have delivered.

8. MSI MAG 341CQP | 34-inch | 3440 x 1440 | 175 Hz | QD-OLED | Curved | OLED gaming still isn't as affordable as we'd like. But it's getting there. This 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED beast is still a good deal at this price, however. The 175 Hz refresh is a tiny bit pedestrian, but it's plenty fast enough for us and in all other regards, this is the full OLED experience, including 0.03 ms response and serious HDR sizzle.

It's a great compromise between lots of detail and decent frame rates. This Samsung panel gives you all that with 3,440 by 1,440 pixels, 165 Hz refresh, and 1 ms response. It's not the brightest at 250 nits. But if you can live with that, it's an awful lot of monitor for the money.

Well, I'm not going to use those exact words, but I will tell you that gaming on a 49-inch curved ultrawide is something else. This monitor scored a whopping 90% in for a reason, and at nearly half the price, it's too good a deal to pass up on right now.

Secretlab Magnus Pro | This is the slightly smaller version of the we reviewed, but otherwise they are essentially the same quality desk. Though still pricey, Secretlab's Magnus Pro range is, as we put it in our review, "simply the ultimate desk for gaming and working from home". The way I just gasped...
I've been sat here, spamming you with snazzy deals for the better part of the day, and I haven't mentioned a single gaming mouse or keyboard. Come on, Monica. Do better.
The happy news is that retailers aren't as forgetful as I am. We've got a whole army of squeakers ready to be picked up, and some nice keyboards to match.
Admittedly, I really hoped that my own hardware would be on sale during this Memorial Day, simply because I love showing off my pink Razer keeb. But, alas, it's not discounted anywhere. No matter—plenty of other options out there.

It's rocking the mighty Logitech Hero 25K optical sensor, which is a super accurate, precise bit of squeaker tech. Price watch: NEW DEAL! Asus ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless | 96% | Tru-Mode connection | switch dampening pads | We reckon this is the right now thanks to its stellar sound dampening and key feel. It's small and features hot-swappable switches, and these are two features that many PC gamers want these days.
So this is a keyboard that's kind of neither here nor there, and personally, I actually liked that about it. Mecha-membrane switches feel clicky enough, but are still not on the same level as a full-on mechanical keyboard, so it's a good way to ease into it. The Razer Ornata V3 is low-profile, soft, and not too loud. It's also massively discounted right now, so if you're not ready to try out a mechanical keyboard, this is a good first step.
